The André and Lucia Maggi Foundation is a social organization with no economic purpose. Its mission is to contribute to local and human development. The foundation is responsible for managing AMAGGI’s Private Social Investment (ISP), the largest grain and fiber company in Brazil.

Through the Growing with the Local Program, we develop actions and projects that contribute to access to education, work, and income and to community protagonism. We constantly consolidate partnerships with civil society organizations, companies, foundations, business institutes, public authorities, and financial institutions.

Foundation Theory of Change

It describes the relationship between planned activities and expected results, helping to visualize the change process and identify the steps necessary to achieve the desired objectives. Its central objective is to communicate change plans to all interested parties involved.

Growing with Local Program

In 2022, FUNDAÇÃO revised its operating strategy with the aim of contributing to the reduction of socioeconomic inequalities. Through its "Growing with the Local" program, the organization defined four priority areas of activity: Family Farming, Entrepreneurship, Professional Qualification and Employability, Strengthening CSOs, and Social and collective movements.

Institutions and Projects supported

We have continuous partnerships and financial support in several organizations that strengthen communities and local development. In 2023, we supported 17 projects, with 78 partners involved in 40 municipalities.

Our Impact

After 26 years of history, the Foundation is recognized as a reference in its locations and for its partnerships for sustainable development.

A new direction, driven by the COVID-19 pandemic, is aimed at even more focused opportunities to contribute to reducing inequalities among groups and people in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability in territories where the Foundation can fulfill its mission.
